Rosemary started medication after visiting her physician. She also made lifestyle changes and lost a significant amount of weight. She is managing her hyper-tension and has gotten her health under control.

Community Education Programs

CVI organizes community education programs for patients, their families and the general public - to heighten awareness as to what they can do to help themselves and their loved ones reduce or avoid the effects of heart disease.

Our Progams for 2010 will include:

  • Community Nutrition Education Program: February-April
CVI’s Nutrition Education Program was the first Community Education program developed by CVI, and we are pleased to be able to continue its success after almost a decade. This grant opportunity partners the CVI with community organizations: YMCAs, worksites, retirement communities, etc. to provide cardiovascular and nutrition education during February, March, and April.
