We Are
The
Cardiovascular Institute of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
founded in 1998 to serve the Delaware
Valley community, is a
501(c)3 medical, non-profit research foundation that works in partnership with
regional hospitals, universities and private medical practices. The Institute
is an independent community resource dedicated to advancing the science and
practice of cardiovascular medicine. Funded by individual donations, corporate
contributions, charitable foundation and government grants, its resources will
be made available for community health education programs, and to qualified
researchers whose application grants are scientifically valid and in keeping
with the mission.
Our Mission
The
mission of The Cardiovascular Institute of Philadelphia (CVI) is to advance the
science and practice of cardiovascular medicine through research and education.
The Institute will foster these advances through clinical, scientific and
educational initiatives that will positively impact patient care.
