7:45 AM - 5:00 PM at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn's Landing

The program provides updates and new directions in the identification, management and prevention of cardiovascular disease.

A diverse faculty of thought leaders from academic centers and hospitals around the Delaware Valley join visiting lecturers, Dr. Valavanur Subramanian, Chairman, Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Lenox Hill Hospital (NY), and Dr. Sunil Rao, Director, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories, Durham VA Medical Center.

Focus topics include catheter, surgical and medical therapies for patients with CAD; genomics and other biomarkers for diagnosis of lipid disorders; CV risk in diabetic patients; updates on recent lipid – hypertension – diabetes trials; atrial fibrillation; devices for treatment of sudden cardiac death & heart failure (ICD, CRT-D, LVAD); and aldosterone in heart failure and CVD.
